Victoria Backham did it. Jessica Simpson did it. And Lindsey Lohan… well at least she tried. The talk is of celebrities launching their own fashion labels – a currently rising trend on the fashion business market.

Weather celebrity brands are good for fashion or rather unfair competitors for young designers, well that’s debatable. However, no matter if celebrity endorsement or celebrity branding – famous people have always been vehicles that guarantee a high consumer interest and a good tool to leverage a marketing strategy.
